Ok I’m a little late on this one. Ok I’m a little late on a lot of shit… sue me. Casey Anthony was found innocent all all murder charges on july 5, 2011. She was found guilty on 4 misdemeanors. Oh joy. Was justice really served? Fuck no. Those dumb ass jurors over looked the most obvious bit of evidence. The bitch went 30 days without telling anyone that her daughter was dead. If she didn’t do it, she would have told the police. Only guilty people try to cover shit up. Only guilty people lie. Plain and simple.

Wow two Michele Bachmann posts in one day. WTF am I doing. Anyway. What hell is wrong with conservative politicians and their inability to know basic American history? First you have Sarah Palin talking about Paul Revere warning the British. Now you have Michele Bachmann calling John Quincy Adams a founding father. There are quite a few things wrong with this. John Quincy Adams was not a signer of the Declaration of Independence. He was about 9 at the time. He wasn’t even part of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 because he was apprenticed to be a lawyer in Massachusetts he was about 18/19, I think.
Now I may not know all 56 signatures on the Declaration of Independence, but I know John Quincy Adams was not one of them. Now John Hancock, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Harrison, John Adams (JQA’s dad) they all signed the Declaration of Independence. All except for John Adams, also attended the Constitutional Convention where they drafted the U.S. Constitution. Also at the Constitutional Convention were George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison. These are the people that declared our independence and crafted our current form of government. These are some of our more famous Founding Fathers. John Quincy Adams was not one of them. If you’re going to cite history. Know what you’re saying. If you’re not sure keep your mouth shut. History is not debatable. It’s also not up for revision. Learn it don’t try and revise it you only end up diminishing our history with nonsense.

So this happened today, Tom Petty sent Michele Bachmann a cease-and-desist letter because she played his song, “American Girl”, at her campaign shindig in Iowa. This isn’t the first time this has happened. G. W. got served with the same “Don’t play my shit” letter by Petty in 2000. Now my question is, don’t these politicians have people that can check to see if it’s ok to use someone else’s creative property? Are they just stupid? OOORRRrr do they not care and just want to not have to pay a royalty to the artist? This is the equivalent of rebroadcasting NFL games. And we all know we’re not allowed to do that without the express written consent of the NFL. So what gives?
